The site is the largest part of the former Casino Airport. It is park-like, level and situated within a short walking distance of the town's CBD, and even closer to the new South Casino shopping centre. There is an excellent terminal building, large car parks and hard stand areas, a compound for park maintenance and hangar buildings for member use as well.

Casino is a pretty, neat town on the banks of the Richmond River with a temperate climate and approx 15,000 residents. It is a major route for north/south traffic and sits at the intersection of two major highways which provide access to the coast and the mountains. It has all the infrastructure to support a motorhome park including two hospitals, a major supermarket and shopping centre, retail businesses, service clubs, restaurants, medical and allied health practitioners.

The project encompasses all elements of the finest of such parks, both here and overseas.
